Thoughts about the time of the year

It's Christmas time ! I know you are saying no joke ! We all get caught up in the hustle and then in an hour if were lucky it is all done until next year. what took weeks to put up , purchase and wrap up is done in a matter of moments. Life seems to be this way sometimes , with each passing year it seems to go faster and faster. This being my introductory blog here on blogger, my little window to the world I thought I would share my observations and then challenge you guys who ever you my readers might be. here goes......... So it seems with all this running and going on it might be easy to get lost in this big world and seem like your contributions are nothing but we all put our mark on the world right through our own little window. It is good to stop and take stock everyonce in a while becuase some times we get wrapped up in all the comings and goings and before long we are way off track from the goal we set out to accomplish. so here is the challenge, It seems like we all wait until right after christmas to set out 'Goals for the Year" or as we call the New Years Resolutions. Think about it if we start now what we can accomplish? This is my Challenge, is to start these things now. and here are a few things that can get you started , these are things that i have learned over time and some I have modified to my own desires.
1. Get system or organization that works for you family. One thing that we have done is we
have a family calander on our fridge, you can purchase one that is refillable each year at
office depot and it is well worth the money. We put everyones activities who has to be
where and when .

2. Keep a things to do list each day and check items off as you finish them, it feels good as you
scratch things off, gives you a visual sense of accompishment

3. Set goals. Make them short term long term and mid term. Make personal and family goals
get out the old magazines and newspapers and other items and make a visual aid of the
things that your want to accomplish and put them in a place where you will seem them
daily.

Have a safe and happy Holiday season
One of my favorite quotes is from Mary Kay Ash ..........
" if you think you can, you can, and if you think you can't you are probly right"

Thanks for bearing thought my rambling.
